WAKEBOARDING
What is wakeboarding? It is a water sport in which the rider, standing on a wakeboard (a short board with foot bindings), is towed behind a boat across its wake and especially up off the crest in order to perform aerial manoeuvres. A hallmark of wakeboarding is the attempted performance of midair tricks. Wakeboarding was developed from a combination of water skiing, snowboarding and surfing techniques.
OUR QUALIFICATIONS
Although all Sea Ya Vietnam staff are fully trained and carry all required qualifications for providing water-sport activities and tuition to the highest standards, we only take out those people who are familiar with wakeboarding. REQUIREMENTS
We provide all necessary Hyperlite equipment including life vests, wakeboard helmets and support for all water-sport activities but it is essential that all participants can swim.
Location
Our activities are based within the area of Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa province. Most tours are north - around the Ninh Hoa basin where the waters are calm, clear and warm for most of the year. The areas we choose are as yet untouched by tourism and the true Vietnam coast can be enjoyed in peace!
